Anna Sergeyevna Kournikova, an ex- Russian professional player has become an American TV personality. Her fame and style made her one of the most famous tennis players in the world. Anna Kournikova was a tennis star in Russia for many years. At one point she was considered to be the most beautiful female tennis player. Kournikova's success in doubles was highly praised. The world was captivated by her looks and modeling assignments which is still one of the top searched athletes on the internet. Kournikova was a standard modern baseliner who moved the ball around the court at a high speed and spin. Her style of play was based on a strong return and deep groundstrokes, and she was also at the net whenever she got the opportunity. Kournikova is a native of Moscow and both her parents were professional athletes. Sergei Kournikov was a world champion wrestler as was her mother, Alla is a marathoner. Kournikova was just 5 years old when she began to take up tennis. In the age of 10, in the year 1991, Kournikova emigrated to Florida and trained at Nick Bollettieri's Academy. Kournikova's tennis career as a prodigy started when she was just five. When she was in 1991, the age of 10, she moved to Florida where she trained under Nick Bollettieri. The fame of her name continues to grow long after her retirement. She has also been involved in Hollywood films. Kournikova's relationship with Enrique Iglesias began in 2001. Couple has two kids - twins who were born in December 2017. Anna Sergeyevna Kourinovova was born on 7 June 1981, Moscow, Russian SFSR Soviet Union. She was a former Russian pro tennis athlete. When she made her debut as a professional, she was only 14 years young. She became the youngest player ever to take home a Fed Cup match for Russia. This achiever was able to make it to the U.S Open when she was barely 15 years old. She at 16 managed to reach in the semi-finals at Wimbledon. Her tennis career ended professionally at the age 21, because of back issues.
